Cristián Molina
Musician and researcher
Cristián Molina specializes in researching popular music, particularly tango, and is the coauthor of the book Patricio Solovera. Testimonio de un oficio (Palimpsesto, 2017). As a theater musician he began his career working with the Dama Brava theater company with the play Lavao a mano (2008). Since then he has lent music to five lambe lambe theater pieces with the Caja Violeta project directed by Claudia Echeñique.
In 2017 he joined the company Teatro del Canto, for a season of Historia de una gaviota y del gato que le enseñó a volar. In 2019 he was the composer and director of the musical La tierra prometida, by Marco Antonio de la Parra. That same year he also musicalized the dance piece Portavoz, by the dancer and choreographer Gonzalo Beltrán.
