Historian

Doctor in History from the Universidad Católica de Chile and Master in Ancient History from the Université Paris I (France). Scholar at the Universidad Católica de Chile specialized in ancient history, theory of history and history of ideas.

His most recent publications have been oriented towards the reception of ideas in Chile, the relationship between memory and history, and the representation of violence in democratic societies. He is currently conducting research on the reception of French existentialist thought in the Southern Cone.
